1. Russian Empire, 1827, "Published by Thomas Kelly No. 53, Paternoster Row, London<br>2. Pacific Ocean, and Australia on Mercator's Projection, 1822, "Published by Thomas Kelly No. 17, Paternoster Row, London"<br>The prints are framed, matted, and covered with glass. The prints have some wrinkling and foxing. The matting of both prints have some age staining in the top left corners, possibly from humidity. The wood frames are in overall good condition, but with some slight age wear. There is some age wear of the backside paper, most notably a tear of backing paper of the ocean print Each frame is about 15" wide by 13" tall.<br>There's a number of interesting eye catchers in these maps. E.g. the Pacific Ocean map shows the voyages of the famous Captain Cook. The Hawaiian Islands were known as the Sandwich Isles back then. Regarding the European part Russian Empire map, note the western boundary. It stretched all the way from Finland in the north down to Ukraine in the south.
